Callie and Connor’s Theatre Wedding

As she approached the home stretch of wedding planning, Callie entrusted us with her vision to bring it to life. During coordination, we took wedding planning off of her plate so she could focus on being a bride. We worked out the logistics, listened to her describe her dream wedding day and started putting together the puzzle pieces. We’re so glad to have played a part in the day, because the end result was a whole lot of beauty.

As our coordination team prepped the reception decor in the theatre, we could hear the excitement and laughter on the balcony where the ladies were getting pampered. The guys playfully arrived in style, walking the red carpet in their wedding best – which totally consisted of sports jerseys and jean shorts!

Callie and Connor took time alone to open letters and gifts from each other before getting dressed for their first look. Just a moment of quiet excitement as they prepare for their forever.

The red-carpet first look was so fitting for these two. While they’re such humble individuals, their pure love for each other deserves to be celebrated and exemplified.

Callie’s nerves seemed to melt away after a first look with Connor. Once the two were together, pure joy drove the day. And it was contagious.

While the bridal party was taking pictures it started to storm back at the theatre. I mean, hail hitting the ground like pellets, storm. I couldn’t help but smile in relief when they arrived back at the venue with dry clothes, hair and make-up looking flawless and laughing at their adventure. As the storm cleared quickly and in plenty of time for guests’ arrival, it was so clear the day was just “meant to be.”

And that’s how the rest of the wedding day went – everything falling into place as planned like it was meant to be.

The ceremony processional was beautiful. After the bridal party took their places at the altar, Callie descended down the stairs from the balcony solo, while the guests stood and turned to watch her stunning Meghan Markle moment. She joined with her dad at the bottom of the stairs to walk down the aisle to her forever.

After the ceremony, it was on. Behind the scenes, our goal was to completely transform the space from ceremony to reception. As tables filled the space, lighting was added and altered and reception elements brought out, the mood was set for cocktail hour and reception.

This was my favorite kind of reception. It was so clear guests weren’t there just for the party or to catch up with old friends, but had the sole intention to celebrate the couple’s love. From the father of the bride bringing tears to every eye during his speech, to the father of the groom rapping at the DJ’s booth with his son, these two were celebrated from beginning to end.

Cheers to the Jarmans! We can’t wait to watch life unfold for you two.

Great commentary on a wonderful wedding day shared by all! Wedding day team did an excellent job with all of their individual positions and I am sure Callie and Connor would highly recommend them to other Bride and Grooms.
