There was nothing simple or quiet about Ashley and Henry’s glamorous wedding. Lace and sparkle was sprinkled through the day, and the laughter and excitement never stopped. The couple had a strong vision for the day from the very beginning, and from their curated cocktail hour to the personalized reception decor, it came together beautifully.
Ashley and Henry went back and forth on whether to do a first look, but ultimately decided to commit so they could attend cocktail hour with friends. I think they got the best of both worlds. This was one of the most special moments of the day! The look on Henry’s face seeing his bride all alone says it all.
Ashley and Henry were given the best weather October had to offer. The ceremony was outside during golden hour, complete with a solo violinist.
The mid-aisle kiss is one of my favorite current wedding trends. It makes that just-married feeling linger and helps keep the recessional from feeling quick and fleeting. The guests toward the back of the ceremony get a perfect view of the bride and groom this time, and, I mean, does it get better than this photo?!
White Iron Ridge makes reception design feel effortless. We used the barn doors and beautiful staircase to create two focal points for the reception. We pulled in the arbor from the ceremony and added their name in lights to create the perfect heatable backdrop. The staircase entryway showcased the three-tier wedding cake and delicate dessert bar, complete with cold sparks for the grand entrance.
The Hoffman’s crew knows how to attend a party. After dinner, toasts and dessert, the dance floor was full, and the energy never stopped.
As the night wrapped up, we sent all the guests outside for the sparkler exit. With the party over in an empty room, Ashley and Henry shared their last, private dance of the wedding night. Soaking it in, making their best day ever last just a little while longer.
Cheers to the newest Hoffmans, and many more dances together!
